Quote of the Day

“Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread in it. Whatever we do to the web,
we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.
All things connect.”

Chief Seattle, 1854

  1. Students may sign out beginning at 1:30pm on Friday’s unless they are on Friday Afternoon Study Hall.

  2. Mentoring lunch will be held on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.

  3. Students may wear their civilian clothes on their birthday.  If students receive a demerit the week of their birthday they may not dress down. Please see Mrs. Cuffe if your birthday falls in the summer months or on the weekend.

  4. Baked Goods Needed! As part of our Community Service Day on Monday, we will be holding a bake sale outside of Rural King in Front Royal. Proceeds will be donated to UMCOR (the United Methodist Commission on Relief) to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey. If you can provide a baked item to sell, please bring it to Student Services Sunday evening or Monday morning.

  8. The Interact Club will be having a Civies Day on Friday, Sept. 8th. The cost is $5 a person and the money
that is being raised is going to help with disaster relief in Texas. Our goal is to raise $500.
Mr. and Mrs. Williams have agreed to match the $500 in order to send $1000 from our students at R-MA
to help those who have suffered from Hurricane Harvey.  If you would like to make a monetary donation
over the $5 to wear civies you may bring it in any time during the week and give it to Mrs. Clingerman.
Students may not wear leggings or constrictive clothing. You may wear your own sneakers but they
have to be sneakers, no sandals or slippers. If you have any questions about clothing please see Mrs. Cuffe.
Let’s make our first fundraiser an amazing one and help those in need. If you have any questions please
    contact Mrs. Clingerman at dclingerman@rma.edu.
