  1. We will not be having Friday Afternoon Study Hall today.

  5. Thank you to all the faculty, staff, parents, and students who helped make the bake sale on 9/11 a success. We managed to raise $328.92 to help with the hurricane relief efforts!

  7. This Saturday September 22nd, Interact members will be walking in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund Walk to help raise money for the cause. We will all meet in the dorms on Saturday at 8:30 am, enjoy the two mile walk, have Chick-Fil-A for lunch and help clean up the lunch site afterwards. We should be finished around 12:30 pm. 
     
  8. The library will open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during tutorial.

  11. Spiritual Life Opportunities

    FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) – A Middle School small group, Bible study that meets every other
    Wednesday in the MS Community Room at 6:00pm. Dates for 1st Semester: 10/04, 10/18, 11/01,
    11/15, 11/29, 12/13 (Christmas Party)

    Praise Team -  Practices are held on Friday’s in Boggs Chapel immediately following formation. Contact
    Mr. DeMato for more details.

 

ATHELETIC RESULTS

 

SOCCER RECAP

R-MA MS soccer played Fresta Valley Christian School on 9/21 and won 5-2. FVCS scored the first goal of the night. Then Luke Habiby countered scoring the first R-MA goal tying the game 1-1. Next, Ugo Odom scored making it 2-1. Luke Habiby scored the 3rd goal of the night and Alex Self scored our fourth goal before half-time bringing the score to 4-1. After the half, FVCS scored their second goal. Ending the game, Ben Badejo scored our fifth and final goal of the night. It was a great game and both sides played with great character and sportsmanship.

Parents and Guardians,

Every student at R-MA receives a yearbook! Now is the time to reserve a special tribute page to congratulate your 8th graders achievements. Imagine your son or daughter’s own personal tribute page! Photos and text help say “We are proud of you!”

Our cadets look forward to the tribute section of the yearbook! No what size or content, a special tribute to your son or daughter will be a wonderful surprise when viewing the yearbook at the end of the school year.

For your convenience, rates and sizes are below. To expedite your order please send us your information, including digital photos or photos to be scanned and the text to be included. We’ll also need a self-addressed envelope to return your valuable keepsakes to you.

Reserve your page today! Deadline for page booking is October 31, 2017. (A limited amount of pages are available so book early!) Content deadline for text and photos is December 1, 2017. Payment by: check, credit card or student charge. If all information is not received by December 1, 2017, your space will be transferred to the next student on the waiting list.

All sizes are based on our 9X12 yearbook pages. Quarter Page (4.25 X 5.5)…….$75.  Half Page (8.5 X 5.5)……$150.

Information for Parents from the R-MA Parents Association.

Welcome to the new school year. We are excited for the upcoming year. We are a group of parents who provides support to programs at the school. Our primary fundraisers are the Used Clothing Sale and football concessions. We have the following opportunities to get involved this fall:

Football Concessions – up to 4 volunteers per game
Saturday September 23rd:  12:30pm-2:30pm & 2:30pm-4:00pm
Friday September 29th:  3:00pm-6:00pm

Saturday October 7th:  1:30pm-3:00pm & 3:00pm-5:00pm
Saturday October 28th:  12:30pm-2:30pm & 2:30pm-4:00pm

We need the following food donations:
100 hotdogs
100 hotdog buns
4 cases of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Orange Crush
4 trays of Gatorade from Costco
Chocolate bars, M&Ms, Starbursts
These may be brought to Student Services, the Middle School Main Office or delivered by mail to the school. Please mark ATT: PA Association.

There will be other opportunities to volunteer or donate items. Our Used Clothing Store will be open Sunday, September 24th from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.
